Curriculum Conversations – Full School Set

Curriculum Conversations is a suite of self‑review tools for schools that want to look honestly at their curriculum and culture and make thoughtful, sustainable changes over time. Rooted in the Being Luminary ecology of leadership, it treats your school as a living system, with each subject area carrying its own histories, habits, and possibilities.

The full school set includes 14 subject‑specific booklets (Art and Art History, Computing, Design and Technology, Drama, English, Geography, History, Maths, Modern Foreign Languages, Music, PE, PSHE, Religious Education, and Science). Together, they guide departments through carefully crafted questions across key equity and curriculum themes, including disability, race, gender, sexuality, faith and worldview, money, class, age, and intersectional experiences.

There are no compliance checklists (c'mon it's Being Luminary) and no new rules to implement. Instead, each subject team gets rich prompts that help them notice patterns, articulate what is working, and agree on one or two meaningful next steps at a time. The tools can be used for whole‑department curriculum reviews, to plan or refresh schemes of work, and to gather student voice in more structured ways, all within ordinary meeting time.

The full school set includes one professionally bound A4 booklet per subject, designed for repeated use over several cycles of review, plus digital access to each booklet to make it easier to use across teams and campuses. This licence covers use across the whole school, so subject leaders, senior leaders, and trusts can work from a shared, coherent framework while attending to the distinct character of each discipline.
